Our lightweight external safety gates can be manufactured from High Density Poly-ethylene ABS and are superior quality, provide high visibility and are instantly recognisable in safety yellow. At 25kg ESG’s gates comply with OH&S recommended safe lifting limits. The 4-piece gate consists of 2 hinged side panels, a frame and door and a roof section. The hinged side panels enable the gates to be installed to enclose shaft openings of various dimensions.  The gates are secured to the building by dynabolts. Thick, secure wire mesh on the panels and door ensures ventilation and visibility and secure access to the gate is via a lockable front door.  The entire gate folds flat to a height of less than 135mm.

All elevator shaft openings must be enclosed by a  hinged & lockable door during elevator construction or repair.

Elevator Safety Gates are designed to fit openings up to 1800mm high and 1500mm wide.

 

Gates are securely anchored at 6 points to the wall  & floor using 50mm concrete anchoring bolts.
